One benefit of using layers is that it preserves each of your elements individually allowing for easier corrections. However, if you want, you can merge your layers as you go along. As you've probably discovered, each time you click on the Text tool, you create a new text layer. You can put more than one text entry per layer once you're sure that the placement is where you want it by choosing to "merge layers" or "flatten image" (this is using PS 7.0). This will add the text layer that you're working with onto the background layer. You can then open a new text layer and add more text.

I was going through my folders and found this cap. It was from that VERY dark scene in the basement near the end of Desperate Measures. I scrubbed it up and look what I found - Sam has wandering hands... He's shot in the back and the upper arm, FCOL - that Sam is really such a hussy...

Sam can join us as the biggest hussy of all. Let's face it, if Jack was lying on the ground infront of me, I would feel obliged to check him all over for injuries.

now the answer to this might be somewhere in this thread but I'll ask anyway. I love those little sam and Jack smileys how do I get them I tried right clicking and saving to a file do I have to put them through photobucket or something to use them?

I'm so glad you like them! Any MWer is welcome to use the the S/J smilies that are posted here. The easiest way is if you save them to your photobucket if you have one. OR if you don't, you can post them from the URLs from my photobucket (save the URLs in a text file with the [IMG][/IMG] tags). The only problem with this is if I ever reorganize my PB, then they might not be there. I seriously doubt if I'll be moving them any time soon, though.
