We had some corn that was not prime so we brought it over to the neighbors critters.

30 years ago today I and my husband and two baby girls were at the Cape to see the Challenger take off. Not something I'll never forget.

There are two events that I saw live on television and was so glad that I wasn't there "live" - Challenger and 9-11. My sister was in New York on 9-11. What a horrible event.

Our collective consciousness is burned by the memories of the smiling, happy astronauts and a young teacher boarding the shuttle and the twin-trails of smoke after the disaster. Likewise, the disbelief as we watched the second plane, on live television, plow into the tower. You see it as it happens and the sense of utter helplessness is overwhelming.
