Why I can have only 7 small dragons ( 4 hatchlings + 3 eggs, or 3 hatchlings+ 4 eggs )? I see somebody had more.

You can have more dragons if you breed some eggs. E.g., you have 4 hatchies and 3 eggs, then you can breed 2 more eggs.
