weeks of planning, 8 hrs of driving to get from Fairbanks to Anchorage, while a bout of food poisoning was running its course, followed by getting thoroughly lost once I got to Anchorage because road construction has closed the major routes that I am used to, and now I get to sit in a room full of snoring people, waiting for my flight to New York to arrive
