I hate the Hero song because it was so immediately connected with the firefighters, policemen, et al. of 9/11 because the title is "Hero" whereas the song itself, it's lyrics, ISN'T ABOUT BEING HERO AT ALL! HATE! STUPID! DUMB DUMB DUMB!

I was going to let this go, but decided I couldn't it's pissing me off to much.

First off I your thinking of the Mariah Carey song Hero, not this one in relation to the 9/11 stuff. I've never heard this song connected with that. Secondly, don't condemn the song because of the title - that's not the songs fault. Thirdly, it's about being a personal hero to one person in your daily actions, not about being a hero in the larger sense. I first heard this song on a wonderfully done music video for Mulder and Scully (X-Files) that fit the content perfectly. Fourthly, I'm shutting up now before I say something I'll regret.
