GW Babe's Fave Song Tourney ~ Super Sonic Sixties 64/65
If I never reply to something you said to me, it doesn't mean I'm ignoring you, it means I'm lazy and the thread moves too fast. . It's all explained here. Well, one part anyhow My LibraryThing.
Rascal Flatts "Life is a Highway" is an abomination of the original!

Act A Fool - Ludacris
Ms Jackson - Outkast
Photograph - Nickelback
Someday - Nickleback
GOOD songs
I do contest! Nickelback was the final straw that drove me away from ever listening to popular radio/watching Muchmusic ever again- it's like they're frakkin worshipped here, and worse more, it's like when anyone thinks of music from Canada, they're top of the list. And Ludacris+Outcast=ear-bleeding.
What should be the representive Canadian band is The Arcade Fire; good rap is K-Os.
Listen to this (the recording is kinda not the greatest high quality, because it's a brand new song and was recorded from the radio. But the genius still shines through.)

See my point? No taste

Except that.. I Like K-Os too! But Ludacris is better
Hmm it remind me of The Ark (a swedish band) which I hate... but yeah... .. feels a little annoyingly repetitive after a while...not too bad tho ... could live with it..

Better than the above? Nah
I could never take Ludacris seriously- anytime I hear his music I think of that video with the giant hands and cringe/laugh/cry.
Hmm I think I like Rascal Flatts version better... don't shoot me! *runs off*
You young'ins ...

I thought they actually did a really good job on the remake. I hate it when a song gets remade then slaughtered by the artist. RascalFlatts kept the song as it was with just putting a little (not much) country twang into it.
