JMuse: I got her again that morning.


CMuse: I would have, but the old man called in reinforcements.

Once we got Addy away from the computer, we got her over to the gym.


Mitchell and the other guys hit the basketball courts, while the ladies hit the swimming pool and I hit the hot tub.


Doesn’t the hot tub give you a terrific view of the lap pool?

AQOJaC: Why, yes, it does.
AQOJoC: So, I could sit there with you next time?
AQOJaC: I think not.

Day 8, cont...

AQOECC: We played one-on-one at the court, the winners of the first round going on to play someone else…and so on…
AQOEDC: Whoever made 10 baskets first won. We had some good games. The largest loss was 10-6, but Davis never stood a chance, really.
AQOECC: Yeah…he’s a little short…
AQOEDC: Finally, we got down to just the two Cams left and then it all went south.
AQOECC: What? I won.
AQOEDC: Yes, but you didn’t beat the point spread, so I lost money anyway.

AQOSC: After the gym we picked up sandwiches and had a nice lunch over on the delta, took in some sun, played around on a couple of jet-skis.
AQOTeyC: I noticed that the men sat on the jet-skis, while the women were required to stand. Why is that?
AQOSC: Uh…has to do with buoyancy.
AQOTeyC: Buoyancy?
AQOEDSam: The guys like to watch us bounce, Teyla. Come here and I’ll explain.

When we got home, we ordered some Chinese food and settled in for a very long night of movies.


Too bad Teal’c was off in Vegas. He would have loved it – all six of the Star Wars movies in chronological order.

Report: Clone Retreat – Day 9

With only two days left, we made our decision on the stray clones issues.


Teyla is now staying with us, but McKay, Ronon, and Ford are still strays. They’re welcome to drop by now and then, but we really don’t have the room for them to stay here long term.

AQOTeyC: But you will be stopping by on occasion, right, Ronon?
Ronon: Yes. Someone has to make sure that Kirk here treats you properly.
AQOSC: I am not Kirk.
Ronon: Whatever you say.

For the weekly target practice, we tried something a little different.


We had a paintball war, women versus men.


AQOEDSam: We kicked their a$$es.

In all fairness, the guys were short-handed. Ronon, McKay, and Ford all took off for the day.


And Jonas and I opted to see the Monet exhibit instead.


You already saw it with Addy and me.

AQOMeC: True, but activities with Jonas are always a unique experience.
AQOJoC: I still haven’t figured out that big gray one called The Wave.
AQOMeC: It was an up close impression of a wave crashing onto the beach at Normandy.
AQOJoC: So, where were the bikini girls, then?
AQOEDC: I see what you mean, Methos.
