Or the squashing with a heavy book, is ever popular (just make sure you don't like the book).

Or if you prefer to let it live, if you can get close enough, cover it with a cup and slide something under it. Then dump it outside.
Might as well kill it. Insects are hard enough to keep up with even when you kill every one you see.

Well, personally I'm of the "squish first, ask questions later" school of thought. But that's not for everyone.

Why just squishing? If you're going to do something you might as well get creative. Spray them with some liquid carbon (if that's the right stuff) and wack em with a hammer to watch them shatter.

That is me being one with nature.

i suggest hairspray only because the little
guys don't kill easily. better to immoblize
and get out. if they don't die, they will
go after you and that is not a good thing.

anything that is sticky will do, so if you have
another thing you can spray that sticks
to their wings and make it so they can't fly,
              use that.

My husband caught one once in a jar and then put it in our freezer. I think he wanted to see if it would come back to life when he thawed it out. It just ended up getting all moldy in there. Did wonders for my diet seeing that thing right next to the ice cream.

Or, if you have a small animal like a cat for instance, you can get them all hyped up about small moving objects and then introduce them to insectoids.

Nature outside is fine. Nature in my house is another. The little beggars keep calling the "976" numbers.

I use bug spray, then once down, squish.
