*sighs* That's a thing I should do, too. It seems that I am a bit too obsessed with the Sims...

I found the rejuvinator for the sims 2!

      http://www.simslice.com/thesims2/ts2rejuvenator.htm

If you havent used it before, it basically just fills your mood and aspiration bar things to the maximum so you have more time to do other stuff!

I used it for a while, but it made life too easy.....i like seeing my sims eating out of trash cans and sleeping in the street. IMO some of the funniest things happen when you let their needs get so low that they become desperate.

I really really loved the first Sims and got all the expansions packs, made skins, objects, etc... but with Sims 2 I find myself getting bored very easily.

I brought the University add on and was playing it on the first day, got my little sim moved into a student residence.... got them doing homework... sending them out socialising: then it hit me: I am living in a student house... I had coursework to do... I had a social life to live... yet I was playing the exact replica of my life on a computer. That was just a little too sad for my liking and haven't played University for a while lol.

And about your second point, I know how you feel! I've realised that too, but its just so much easier on the pc! I found myself staring at the msn chat on the sims2 for ages!!

I only got S2 a little while ago, and I'm finding it way more interesting than the first one. There's so much more to do, and you can affect the characters so much more. I currently have the goddess Hathor, who is attempting to sleep with every other sim in Pleasantville, and has just become a single mum! Ithink I'll call the baby Nirti.

The game claims to be a 'life simulation', and everybody gets exited about that. But I find it to be more fun with the odd fantastical element thrown in, like the genie or the robot from the original Sims expansions. Its what makes the game unpredictable.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one to name their sims after sci-fi characters.

What else are you supposed to name them?

Despite my lack of interest in the Sims, I feel the need to plug the Simtropolis Forums, as a friend of mine (Equinox) is a mod there.

I too have been looking without success. I have , however, found a patch that removes the pixilations at bathtime.

Simtropolis is a fantastic site. I spent a few years over there when I was obsessed with SC4....might have to pop over again for old times sake.

Just like my Hathor. But she's not a single mum. Well, not yet. She's afraid of marrying someone.

I didn't find a SG-skin, too. But I just created them without having the right clothes a.s.o.
