Well, the intro imo being jumpped that far into the future, was almost like all the time jumps Falling skies had, i REALLY would have loved some more on the whole Dr Scott murder, and whether they had found the killer.. BUT otherwise, i was fully engrossed watching it!

With a few negatives, the premier was good.

        Spoiler:
I'm really annoyed at how dismissive they were about Rachel's death, almost treating it as a non-issue.

Fun to see the guys reacting to their promotions.

Not so fun seeing Valerie get killed. I don't understand what she discovered that made her demand that the plane go back and land, and I don't understand where the explosion came from that destroyed the plane. We didn't see any rockets coming up from the ground, which suggests it was already on the plane.

Not so sure I like Sasha Cooper yet; and even though the show is attempting to show a possible relationship between the two, I see no chemistry whatsoever between her and Captain Chandler. I could be wrong, but I think Sasha has a hidden agenda about something, which we will find out about later.

I hate what's happening to our guys that were captured, and what happened to poor Mason, with them hurrying to drain all his blood before his heart stops. Vampires! It's fine if they are pirates (or whatever they are) are angry with the Chinese for withholding the cure, but why do this to the Nathan James crew. All they had to do was get a message through whatever channels they could to get word to the U.S. about what China was doing and get the correct cure. Guess that would have been too easy.

I'm still seeing that folks don't trust President Michenor and think he has a hidden agenda. I'm on his side. I think he's doing the best he can, considering how low on the list of possible Presidents he was before becoming President. Not sure I like the new blonde assistant. But then I'm often wrong, so we'll see.

I was out of my chair, cheering when Chandler, Wolf and the two women on the helicopter showed up and blew up the boat chasing Burk and Green, and saving them.

I wonder if they will show any remorse from the temporary commander of the ship that he didn't go with Granderson's wish to call back to sailors from the club much sooner. He said "wait another 10 minutes" and that's all it took for the disaster to happen and all those guys and one woman to be taken prisoner.

There's an interview floating around the web that says the producers decided they didn't need Rhona Mitra's (Dr. Scott) character anymore and that she would just be superfluous to the show if she had lived, so the just killed her off and moved on.

I was just starting to like Valerie and she's now gone.

It will be an interesting next 10 weeks or however many more episodes there will be.

Definitely agree on that one. Especially with what they're seeing with the mutation (if I'm remembering correctly). I really wish they hadn't jumped so far ahead, and actually showed reactions.

I'm thinking she found a bomb, and that's what exploded.

I agree. I'm not really caring for the dynamic between them. I think he and Rachel had much better chemistry. Definitely seeing a hidden agenda there, but I'm not sure what.

Yeah, I think he's just doing the best he can. I was actually kind of excited to see Elizabeth Rohm (the blond assistant). She hasn't been doing much, that I've seen, since she was on Law & Order.

I was out of my chair, cheering when Chandler, Wolf and the two women on the helicopter showed up and blew up the boat chasing Burk and Green, and saving them.
I wasn't sure they were going to make it!

I'm interested to see where they go with things.

Good to know. People don't often agree with my opinion on stuff.

p.s. - did you get the job?

They did seem somewhat dismissive, but i liked the nods TO her all over the place, from the marking in the rations book to the continual mentions to her..

Fun to see the guys reacting to their promotions.

It was fun to also see the Wifey of our specialist, actually out of the service and serving the Potus.. Though i wonder where Rex went??

Maybe she found the source of that signal that was carrying on theirs??
I also liked how the Aussie was sweet on her and still kicks butt!!

                She certainly has something hidden...

Guess they might be trying to make them very unlikable.. so when we slaughter them people Cheer??

Well, initially he WAS working for the immunes...

I was out of my chair, cheering when Chandler, Wolf and the two women on the helicopter showed up and blew up the boat chasing Burk and Green, and saving them.

                So was i.

If anything i hope he gets a serious ass chewing out from Chandler..

That would suck if true.. I liked her.. Though i can understand the thought of her being no longer needed...

                So was i..

                  Spoiler:
If the "Rex" you are referring to is the dog, his name is Halsey. Or, at least that's the name I keep seeing all over the place. I like to think he's in St. Louis with Kara, the baby, and Kara's mom.

I'm not sure that Tex is on this season. He doesn't appear to be, according to IMDB, but then, that isn't a concrete source.

Okay. That makes more sense. I'm hoping he'll be in future episodes. Maybe he's spending a lot of time with his daughter and making sure she's okay.

                          Spoiler:
I think what is going on with the kidnapping is that the pirates think the cure that they got wasn't real, and the americans are trying to help the Chinese take over japan, or something like that. more than likely part of that is true, the Chinese president is manufacturing a fake version of the cure and selling it on the black market and /or giving it away as to make it look like the americans are keeping the REAL cure for them selves and only china can get the real cure from the americans, or some sort of combination of that.

                                Very nice ep tonight..
                                Spoiler:
Loved how in the intro, we had Kara trying to make nice with the reporter, who then turned out to be a douche and went behind her back to the family. I would have REALLY enjoyed it if that mother, had smacked the reporter, right on camera, and said "Are you stupid or something, do you not understand what the heck the meaning of the word No comment/Stop bugging me is??"...

Then when they showed the commander in the prison camp, even blacking out after getting drained again, he still had the smarts to get that coil...

And i loved the infiltration of the Chinese premier's house!.. and that stand off between wolf and Tran. I am awating round 2 of that fight
