I have just watched the season's finale 'Familia' and I am rather confused about the end. Can anyone explain to me?

the tattoo Hetty shows at the end pertains to the family which wants Callen dead? or is it the other family? and, did you also understand that Callen was there as a boy, maybe was raised there?

and you know what I am thinking? could it be that Callen and Hetty are related? maybe not mother-son relation, but anyway related?

really wondering what happens next .... how long do we have to wait until the next season starts?

Have to say i was expecting Christine Rose to be his mother... but i guess i'm wrong....

The tattoo...is it from the family there or Callen's family?

Speculation\Known Facts:

I'm thinking G must stand for the name of a rival crime family that was eradicated during G's childhood by this family. I'm guessing G is the last surviving member of said family.

I think Hetty recently added the tattoo to play the part of a member of the crime family, in an attempt to save G. I think that is what was added to her personnel file that Director Vance said not to mention to anyone.

Wow, this was a really great episode. I have enjoyed this season of NCIS:LA better than S1!
