Except the replicators there hasn't really been any robots in SG-1. has there?

besides, if it's replicators you take exception to, then they could make their mechanised bodies from polymers rather than metals that attract the replicators. And they could fit projectile weapons way superior to p-90's on those bodies as well as beam and other energy weapons.

For planetary or field deployment, they could have some sorta orbital reload hub, that would beam down ammunition to the infantry units that are running low.

And of course, they'd have their shields and cloaks as standard. They could have special units that also have teleport beams etc. to beam enemies out to holding cells or beam friendlies out to safety.

Kinda like super asgard mechwarriors.

As little guys, they can sneak under fences, through air ducts, etc. Come to think of it, they'd blend right in--aren't most ship inner workings gray?
