Except the replicators there hasn't really been any robots in SG-1. has there?
besides, if it's replicators you take exception to, then they could make their mechanised bodies from polymers rather than metals that attract the replicators. And they could fit projectile weapons way superior to p-90's on those bodies as well as beam and other energy weapons.
For planetary or field deployment, they could have some sorta orbital reload hub, that would beam down ammunition to the infantry units that are running low.
And of course, they'd have their shields and cloaks as standard. They could have special units that also have teleport beams etc. to beam enemies out to holding cells or beam friendlies out to safety.
lol! except their thin necks probably couldn't support the pressure- of course, these would be the buff Asgard with the thick (American)football player necks
