Paramount is casting the roles for the upcoming Star Trek movie set in the early days of Kirk’s USS Enterprise. We think Paul McGillion would make a fine Young Scotty. He’s got the heritage, the accent, and the acting ability to make “She’s givin’ ya’ all she’s got, Cap’n,” a truly believable line.

Check out casting rumors here at Cinematical.com. James Doohan’s son Chris is angling for the part as well, which of course we respect, but Paul would be a wonderful choice!

I don't think I'd want that on his resume. I don't see this new Trek-movie being a huge success.

I've seen the last one some years ago and I can't say it was a big hit. My personal opinion here.

i wanna see more of anubis. but whats the point they bail on their fans. and their excuse was we are stopping beause we are the longest running scifi series. i say hogwash . the movies seem like a good idea but whats a 90 min movie if it going to be on tv and or dvd. not much of an effect for such a great tv show. 10 years the series has been out and only 2 movies. 1 in theaters and the other on tv. if the movie was 2 hours long and at the theater i guartee it will be a hit .

Okay guys,

as most of you will have heard, the title of the new Stargate series
has been announced:
STARGATE: UNIVERSE.

Now,
I am starting the campaign here and now to get Dan Payne on the show!!

He is already known to Stargate fans the world over for playing such great characters as the SuperSoldier & the UberWraith, so TPTB would already know that he would be a popular choice.

Okay, it would be good if he had a guest spot on it, but I would
really love it if he actually got one of the main cast spots!!!!
And preferrably a role where we can actually see his face!!
