        ok i have a question!!!
this q came from non stargate universe...i was watching austin powers Goldmember ..the scene with austin and Fat B******..the wire scene??.. how much planning goes into doing a stunt using the wires or using a jerk suit?
As much planning as they will give you!! On a TV series, we don't have that much time to plan, rehearse, and then shoot anything.......at the most, a week from start to finish. On a large budget feature, if you are lucky, they will give you a couple of months to come up with everything, talk about it some more, rehearse, go back to the drawing board, talk some more, rehearse some more, talk some more, rehearse some more.....talk, film a rehearsal to show the director, talk some more, rehearse some more, film the rehearsal again to show the director the changes, talk some more, rehearse some more, film again and show the changes, and then.....if you are really lucky.....he will like what you did and you can rehearse with the actors for however long the schedule allows....a day, a week, a month.....and then....maybe.....you get to put something on film.

I had to see that for my Modern History class. Not exactly my cup of tea but I'm sure it was good for the people who actually watched it

Bam Bam! You're back! Well, considering that it IS your Chat thread, I guess I shouldn't be surprised...

Question. You don't eat dairy products. Does that make pizza a bit odd for you? And what do you do about foods that have milk in them, like some cakes, many sauces, many Italian dishes...?

Maybe it's an age thing, but I actually liked Daniel Craig. I grew up with Pierce Brosnan as Bond and although I liked him to begin with, the more he did the cheesier they got. Too many flashy gadgets and cringy one-liners and not enough gritty action. Daniel Craig was a refreshing change and I really enjoyed Casino Royale.

That being said do you have a preference? Do you like the fast pace of the television shooting schedule better, or the excessive planning and changes that occur on a big budget film?

Oh I can understand that your a big help with putting the pieces together.

Q: So this means that you never sit down with a bowl of pop corn and just watch the whole episode, not just the fight scene?

Mmmm.. personally I found watching Sean Bean trying to do an upper class British accent just far too distracting. I much prefer him as rough and ready Sharpe! One of my favourite bad guys is probably Auric Goldfinger.. "No, Mr Bond. I expect you to die!"
