Well if you look at Avenger 2.0 you can clearly see Felger plugging in some sort of custom connector from the DHD to the lappy so at least they don't count on a million year old device to comply with USB 2.0...[email protected]

I was continuing the metaphor, Jprime, but you've reminded me of something: Ancient devices seem to use Bluetooth rather than USB. Those wires in "Avenger" are the part that Sam figured out how to hook up (to the Stargate, not the DHD) before Daniel was recruited. She didn't actually figure out how to duplicate Ancient Bluetooth, she just figure out how to make it into USB, right?
