still, having more than one weapon that accually does damage isn't wrong. the ancients relied completley on drones, and where did that get them?sigpic

if the auroras were their latest main ship, like the o'neill for the asgard, that doesn't make sense. either they realised you need both something that dan take down you enemy in 3 or 4 strikes (drones), and something that packs a bit more punch. however, the drones can to that two. so that doesn't make sense either. maybe they were the best alround weapon if they were to run out of drones. it would be kind of fun to see a 304 try to take out 200 darts with just beams. sure, we have railguns, but small plasma bolts would probably work just as well/better.sigpic
