huh, where'd you find the mirror function? i looked around a bit, but could find it...

looking over a few of the pages and found a really bad way to mirror in there!

Make half of the ship a component. Copy it, flip it in the axis direction and join it up.

Do not:

Copy half the ship and past it there, when you want to disscontect it, sometimes it doesn't work!

EDIT: merlin, can you put the Hermes and Bellerophon in the scketchup warehouse?

Added the big turrets onto the top. Going to put two on each side of the bridge as well on those wing cover things.

Exactly! It's nice to see more new people join this thread and how everyone develops as each challenge passes; including myself! I'm suprised more people from the OSDT have not entered the challenges.

This thread has made me try other methods of 3D modelling than i usually do... which is great.

Got the landing struts finished.... and i've copied the engines from a different mesh and built them onto the rear....next stop... the bridge
