I'd say it's a Frigate/Escort Ship; maybe even just a Cutter or Gunboat. I also think it was built only b the Asurans, not the Lantians. Its symmetry seems like a dead giveaway; they're machines, and the Altera seemed to have an aversion to symmetry.

Jumpers are symmetrical, Atlantis is mostly symmetrical, and even Auroras are fairly similar on each side.

Jumpers seem to be alone (and I'm not even sure the patterning on them is symmetrical). The chair isn't symmetrical, Auroras aren't symmetrical, and Atlantis is not even close to symmetrical. Hold on and I'll get a few pictures.
