the oddesy now has a spare one we could use that the daedalus can stand up to a hell of a punch with the new shields the asgaurd plasma beam weapons would rip threw the hull with ease

ok if you dont want the daedalus then lets use atlantis all it has to do is drop out of hyperspace and open fire with its drones

or an ori battle cruiser fire one shot down the middle of the ship ripping a hole in it leaving every one on board to choke to death

The whole point of the thread is dDaedalus VS. Andromeda.

Second, Andromeda can not only seal the afected areas within split-seconds, but also repair the damage with on bord nanites.

Third, our railgun slugs might just bounce off her fullerene carbon mesh hull.

Fourth, our beams are far too slow to be a threat. Since Andromeda will typicaly engage from light second range.

Crazy Tom is talking about your "light second is not that far". If you read the thread from the first post you will better understand. It is people like you that make everyone repeat themselves. Also the Daedalus does not have beam weapons in this thread as when I made this thread, they didnt have them. Like I keep saying the Daedalus has/can use weapons it has at the time I made this thread which was way before Unending. Now if you want it you have beam weapons, then go to the link I post earlier and talk/discuss it in that thread and not this one.

Not to start an argument or even a further discusion (As IMO half of andromedas cannon specs are not even montioned on the show and the andromeda follows its own unueq laws odf physics), but we dont realy know this. Ships in stargate can go pretty fast, so if we judge only from visual effects, the plasma beams shouldnt be able to hit anyone in stargate either.
