Threads confirmed to air as 90 Minute Episode in UK

See, I knew it, I knew it! Just had a sneaky feeling it would happen

Sky has got too many repeats to air so they would readily plump for a 2-in-1 episode

Apart from the Stargate Franchise, new Simpson's every Sunday at 6.30pm, the 4400 and generic trash TV what else have Sky got that really pulls in the ratings? Nothing.

The 4400 has now finished. I'm guessing next year the top rated shows will be 24, Nip/Tuck, Stargate, Atlantis and Simpsons. It's the best they have.

According to Sky Programme Information Threads will be a 90 minute long episode (including breaks) airing on Tuesday 8th February 2005 at 8:30pm

With the UK getting it, it's almost certain that the US will. They generally don't -- plus it will be fair. But if they don't, I will be surprised.

The 4400 is listed as a 13 episode series at tvtome, how come there is only 5 on Sky One? Did they split it up like E4 did with The OC?

Hum, i totaly forgot to say, OMG. this is awsome, i new we would get it, i love extended episodes, But i thought it was a double episode, being 90 mins in length without ads, but its only around 60mins so only 50% extra , still good though

The 13 episodes are those for the second season which begins filming in Febuary I think.... Anyways, there are only 6 in the first season (or supposed to be mini-series). The pilot takes up the first 2 episodes, then there's 5 more.

Oh, and WOOHOO!!!! for the 90-min "Threads"!

We finish the second half of season eight about 4 weeks before Sci-Fi does, a lot more than usual.


I'm sure Sci-Fi will come through and put the 90-min version on.

All I can say is execellent. I can't wait for this to air! However there seems to be no Atlantis on that week .. but I can't complain if we're getting a 90-min episode! *does a happy dance*
