I've found that getting boxed sets from JB HiFi is much better value. My last two boxed set orders through them (Farscape season 3, and more recently season 4) came in 2 days before the 'official' release date and were $15 cheaper than retail. ($125 rather than the retail of $140)

i know this is a stargate forum, but i can't believe you would've paid that much for them. i want to buy x files season 4 (i have 1-3 and 5), but the prices i'm seeing are far too steep. i saw it at one place for $185. no way in hell would i pay that. if i bought all 9 seasons for that, i could get myself a decent car for the same price.

I'd recommend them to anyone who is wanting to pre-order boxed sets. I was told by a staff member at my local store (Macgregor here in sunny Brisbane) that they often sell for around 10% below retail for the first couple of weeks to generate more sales of a new title.

Last time I used EzyDVD they charged me twice for the same order and the courier ignored my instructions on where to leave the order. (It was on the delivery slip, they just didn't bother to read it or ignored it outright.) The tracking number I was given for the courier was also incorrect so I couldn't track my order to see the estimated arrival day. That was the final straw for me and I prefer to order here in town now and go pick up my goods at my leisure.

When did you use EzyDVD that time when you had problems, because if you used it soon after it was setup they might have still been getting everything to work properly, but in all the time that I have been using EzyDVD I have never had a problem, ever.

As for when I will receive my order, this morning at 7:27am adelaide time my order from EzyDVD was shipped out to me, I have a tracking number that works and my item will arrive tomorrow morning most likely, but if the couriers are fast today I might get it this afternoon.

Yeah, their warehouse is near where one of my friends lives, but it's about a 9-12 minute drive from where I live.

That's not to shabby. They're fast to ship to Brisbane, so it's probably 10 times faster for you to get it.

Yeah, typically it's overnight delivery for us, but once when mine was sent out they missed the courier so it took an extra day to get to me.

Usually when I want to buy a DVD these days I just go to Chermside Westfield. (A nearby shopping centre) It's much easier if you don't have a credit card.

I'm suprised at how popular the season 6 boxsets are. I went into EzyDVD today and behind the counter there was a pile of boxsets (looked like about 30) and they were all reserved. They didn't have a spare copy in the store for me. This would have been a bad thing if I didn't find a copy somewhere else.

jb hifi had all the X-Files boxes for $50 a month or two ago and I got s1 at HMV for $70. I can't believe someones selling it for $185 thats just nuts. Otherwise try Target or Kmart

Ok, heres an update.

My contact at Seven tells me that Stargate will definatly return sometime in February, and that Atlantis will premiere after the end of this season of Stargate.

After this season has ended? What about the episodes that they removed because Atlantis wasn't on? Will they be an entire season out of order?

If I was 7 I would have just kept it simple and played Season 8 with SGA as double episodes each week, so New Order Pt. 1 and Rising Pt. 1 were the first and Moebius Pt. 2 and The Seige Pt. 2 were the last. I don't care if it wasn't possible or whatever, I'm just saying that would be the complete sickness.

That would be nice, and since they have the 'tapes' it's not impossible, they are just lazy and scared of getting rid of an hour timeslot to fit in an extra Stargate related show.

I just found out the one of my Brisbane friends has Atlantis; If Seven don't show it soon I might have away to watch it. I think Seven will show it, though.
