In "The Joining," Gotham faces its most devastating threat ever - an alien invasion. Simultaneously, new detective John Jones (aka Martian Manhunter) arrives in Gotham and hints to Batman that he may know the Caped Crusader's secrets. Batman must uncover this mysterious figure's true identity and intentions and while combating the aliens. Ultimately, Batman discovers that even the greatest heroes must employ teamwork to save the day.

Guest stars lending their voices in the "The Joining" include Dorian Harewood ("Full Metal Jacket") as detective John Jones/Martian Manhunter and Academy Award winner Louis Gossett, Jr. ("An Officer and a Gentleman") as Lucius Fox.

Known to fans for playing Dr. Grodin on Stargate Atlantis, this talented actor has also appeared in television series such as Dark Angel, DaVinci's Inquest, and the new Blood Ties. We look back on his final episode of Stargate Atlantis plus some of his other work. Craig will be attending Timeless Destinations this summer in Vancouver, BC.

When a Christian hometown hero dies, friends and relatives gather for the funeral. John Schneider (right) heads the cast as Gary Zimmerman, the deceased's atheist boss. Tracy Melchior ("The Bold and the Beautiful" on TV) co-stars as sister of the fallen hero. Regal Cinema's Cielo Vista, Alamo Quarry, Live Oak and Fiesta 16 will host the screenings.

Thursday, April 26, 2007 - Movie Review

April 30th will see the release of a new movie entitled Hidden Secrets. I was given the privilege of previewing this movie and highly recommend it. It shows clearly how God desires a relationship no matter how terrible we think our sins are. Sin is sin no matter how large or small we believe it is. Jesus died for all sin in order to allow us to have a relationship with God.

The material in this film is definitely adult in nature. The acting and comedy are good due to a great veteran cast. In fact I felt each actor played his part quite believeably. One of my favorite actors from Stargate SG1 fame, Corin Nemec, is one of the main characters and plays his part exceptionally.

Note: As a reviewer for Active Christian Media I was not compensated for this review.

I thought it might appear confusing because of this line in your post:

Also, because the first source you quote from isn't the Plaid Hearts site.
I would have put that source first if I was titling the post Plaid Hearts & various (although I think having the movie title there would be better). But then that's just me.

CN's film Chicago Massacre: Richard Speck (previously titled Evil Incarnate: Richard Speck) won two awards - Best Producer, and the Audience Choice Award for Best Feature - at the Beverly Hills Film Festival.

Chicago Massacre: Richard Speck will be released on DVD by Lionsgate on June 5th.
