Morena Baccarin is Adria (Season Ten SPOILERS)

I have only seen her in "Serenity" but I think she's a very good choice.

Well my only complaint is, this makes Adria look more like she's Sha're's daughter than Vala's. I would have liked an actress who had more of resemblance to Claudia Black to do the mother/daughter thing more justice.

That said, I do really like Morena's work and her character of Inara on Firefly (Serenity) and I think she is a great actress (I always thought of her as a younger version of Teri Hatcher) so I'm looking forward to seeing her on SG1.

Nah, there's this Ancient/Ori technology called "Hair Straighteners" which the production crew (make-up & costume department) can use to make her look more like Vala.

My only worry with her aside from the possible "prior facing" is the possibility that some idiot in the studio will make a religious leader like her character, wear scantily clad cloths.

I'd expect attire such as white robes and a gray veil. Perhaps something that looks like this... but "Ori-ized".

Fantastic, great talent and easy on the eyes (lets hope they don't cover her up with weird makeup) - only downside is she's a baddie and may well be vanquished in the end ... on the other hand they kept Apophis around for how many seasons was it? She could be a regular yet!

(Now we only need a cat fight with her and lexa doig and this should be interesting *g*)

Actually, with the angle that she is Vala's daughter, I'm sure there will be some moral argument to disable her without killing her or something along that line. Who knows, maybe she'll end up being a full time member of SG-1 in season 14 or something like that.

I just hope they don't put a romantic interest on Adria's character. They should at least leave a hot girl by herself, just this once. Almost every time there's a recurring attractive female in the show she gets paired up with one of the guys.
