So, you ordered a blank head and painted it yourself? Good job, then!

I picked up DST’s 12 inch Jack figure and went to work on destroying him, haha. To my surprise I found an RDA sculpt under all that paint.
Its up to personal opinion as to whether you see RDA in this but for my second figure head paintjob I feel pretty darn good about it.
Rope climbing's the reason I got bronze instead of silver in the ParticipACTION programme.

Well, I think your eyebrows are a bit too thin. Maybe not as thick as the original, but he is no woman, either. A bit thicker would be nice, and don't forget the scar!
But otherwise, it looks indeed better, stronger, faster... um, never mind!
PS: Maybe a hint of stubble around the chin? I've noticed a shadow once in a while...Funny pictures with Stargate-Actionfigures at http://dieastra.livejournal.com/

The jackets were made for me by urbanrevtoys.com. He makes all types of clothes and accessories for 1/18 scale figures. I commissioned him to come up with Stargate outfits and he did an awesome job. He could even make the pants, but I passed on those. I wasn't real happy with the vests he came up with and when I saw the PTE (power team elite, found at most Big Lots and KBToys stores), I knew I could come up with something. Thanks for the kind words. The rest of the team is on the way. I will try and post new pics here. Thanks again.

Beautiful work Blues! - You and Mooncat are leading the way in this larger scale by a long chalk!
The "kneeling" pic is particuarily good. The lighting and position captures to essence of Mr Flanigans's physicality as the character.
I am hoping (crosses fingers) to get the firstr of my customs started at some point in the new year. There are a few essential components still missing, so we will have to see.Converting a human body into energy and sending it millions of light years through a wormhole. Bloody insanity!
Come on, how often do you get the chance to go to an alien planet?
I was a'ready on an alien planet!
