But seriously; Relativity finds SG-1 involved in the signing of a diplomatic treaty that goes off the rails, and when our heroes try to find out just who is sabotaging things, they get a lot more than they bargained for. I'm also pleased to have brought back two of the show's most hissable adversaries in supporting roles.
And there are a clues to a couple of story elements in the title...
Rachel and I have been waiting for this since FEB! Can't wait to read it!
Just looked at Amazon, I don't think I believe the date....1st of June. That's tomorrow! I can't even find it on the offical website. Wish it was true, but I can DREAM....Janna Galaxy, Queen of The GodsThe Strongest Will Survive!

Originally posted by sonny1 View PostOn Amazon, just type 'SG-1' in the books search engine, or even Roswell or SG1, and it appears in the top 5-10 listings.
My friend though who has it on preorder for a long time told me that it was cancelled in between but now she got a new release date sometimes in June.
I then wanted to order directly from Fandemonium, but it isn't in the bookshop either...Funny pictures with Stargate-Actionfigures at http://dieastra.livejournal.com/

Oh, and by the way, recently I talked with a friend about "A Matter of Honor" and "The Cost of Honor" and we were so excited that a third friend wanted to know more about it. We told her some things and actually I wanted to borrow her my books so that she could read for herself.
But we forgot it when she left and now she just ordered them herself, and also "Alliances" (and that was even before I told her that her favourite character Major Paul Davis would be in this one) and I'm pretty sure once she read these all she also will buy the rest.
Can I get some share somewhere for recruiting new customers?

Thanks all of you who are spreading the word and supporting the cause by buying the novels. It's quite humbling and gratifying that you're enjoying them so much.
I probably should chip in here and say something about Roswell now that it's out. My co-author has blogged about it http://www.jenniferfallon.com, and as Beth said, there's the odd bit of whump. In fact, I think it's safe to say that pretty much everyone is whumped in this literally from the first sentence. (Chapter 1 is on my website).
Roswell is available through Fandemonium; you just need to email them and ask. They'll probably update their site soon. Amazon.de have it: http://www.amazon.de/Stargate-Sg1-Ro...0789702&sr=8-1
I'm already getting email from Australian readers (one library already has it!) despite the fact that the official launch in Brisbane isn't happening for another month on the 70th Anniversary of the crash of the Roswell spaceships.... Okay, okay, I know, that opens up a huge can of worms. What spaceships - and wasn't it July 4th? Or 7th?
Which is an insight into exactly the nature of the worms. I read very quickly and when researching , can consume fairly large volumes of material in a short space of time, but this story has to take the record for embellishments and arguments about what ‘really’ happened during that fateful week in New Mexico. The logic in every case is so compellingly flawed that the working title of Roswell for several months was Post Hoc.
Jen was a fantastic sounding board and very grounded writing partner, absolutely essential for this because Stargate hijacked the entire Roswell incident and subsequent conspiracy for its own mythology, neatly managing to tie a few lose ends that had been bothering me (using my own brand of post hoc reasoning, but hey, I’m not trying to flog the story off as fact…). Let's just say that I roped in a fist full of twentieth century conspiracies, pop culture, and sci fi icons. Brownie points to the first person who gets the first reference to Duck Dodgers... Double Brownie point if you get the second as well.
Sadly, I had to cut out a few details, like using Teal’c as one of the ‘men in black’ (who appeared about the same time and were rumoured to be alien), but then the book is already at 350 pages, so that notion will have to wait <g>. But truly, there’s such a wealth of mind boggling and hugely entertaining conspiracy theories around, there’s enough material to write a dozen SG novels on modern mythology alone – and that’s without touching anything the X-Files hijacked.
Back to Roswell and the official launch party in Brisbane (Logan North Library for locals - come along, it should be a blast!). We picked 30 June because for those who subscribe to the theory that more than one ship crashed, Brazel said on July 7 that the bodies on the ridge had been out in the open for 'about a week'. So, it seemed like a good time to throw a remembrance party and launch a book at the same time.
Hope everyone has as much fun reading it as we did in writing it!
cheers

I emailed Fandemonium - here is the response I recieved:
Thanks for your email. I'm delighted to hear that you would rather order from us than Amazon.
Roswell should be available next week. We'll send out an email newsletter as soon as we have it ready to ship which should be 8 June (if all goes well).
Best regards,
Tom
I use Amazon all the time but they have not been very good for me when ordering the Stargate books. Now that Fandemonium ships in the US I order all Sg books directly from them.
