Ooh wow I have ordered mine but I live in Australia so I am still waiting. So the commentaries are definitely included? Have you had any time to listen to them yet? Yes it is all about the commentaries for me.

Got my copy today too already watched seige pt 3 however i noticed that the starting credits are the ones from series 1 not too

is that right?

Yeah, was the same when they aired on Sky

The new intro kicks in with the episode Duet after Ronon is introduced

Might be off topic a bit but I think when you re-watch episodes on DVD their more enjoyable second time around.

I was not looking forward to seeing The Ties That Bind again but some how it seemed to have more to it.

Might be off topic a bit but I think when you re-watch episodes on DVD their more enjoyable second time around.

I was not looking forward to seeing The Ties That Bind again but some how it seemed to have more to it.

And they're even more enjoyable when you're making screencaps with WinDVD or transcribing audio commentaries, this way you can actually analyze all episodes very carefully and it's really great! I love my vol. 1 of season 9 DVD

I have got to say, the menu for Season 2 of Atlantis is so much better than the Season 9 of SG-1 menu. The Atlantis one has alot more to it. Even though I haven't listened to the commentries, the episodes are amazing, the sound is clear (in 5.1) and the directors series aren't actually that bad. There has been more effort into the DVDs for Atlantis than SG-1.

Region 2 Boxsets? How were they messed?

The Region 2 Boxsets were not messed up but the Australian Season 8 Boxset was missing the majority of the audio commentaries.
