Do the Ancients have any energy based weapons on atlantis?

Not all energy weapons are 'beam' weapons. The Wraith and Gou'ald both use some kind of pulsed energy weapon.

Any way u have the tolan ion cannon that seems to be from what i have seen an energy pulse anubis and his energy weapon(kind of zatish looking beams) that bypasses sheilds and blows up ships the Gouald weapons which are plasma incased in an energy sheild of some form the wraith have a similare looking energy weapons, then u have the beam weapon the ancients had the energy like bombs used by the alkesh and the needle threader. Any way can any one rember u know that acient weapon that destroyed the plannet it was based on it was in the episod were that guy decends cause he has a crush on carter, did that ever get shown actualy firing as that might be something like any energy based weapon on atliantis.

Technically, all weapons are energy weapons, whether they are projectile type weapons which use kinetic energy to fire projectiles, or if they are traditional energy weapons which fire energy, or if they are knives and the like, which also use kinetic energy to do damage.

Well we use the terms projectile and energy weapons to only differ between the two types. Technically you should have energy energy weapons and energy projectile weapons. Even though technically energy weapons still fire projectiles just in the form of energy, so instead you should have, energy energy projectile weapons, and energy projectile projectile weapons. lol. Energy and projectile weapons make it simpler. Lol, I'm just babling so I am going to just stop now. lol.
