Thanks. Nothing I've said effects The Chill-Out Hive. As you and Draygon are game runners and you both approve of them, should I go ahead and replace the original introduction now?

Introduction Part Three - The Threads

Important Note.

The Hive 95 role playing thread is run by TechnoWraith but we have no idea where he is at the moment. I've removed the links to it because there's no point in anyone subscribing to it when nothing is happening there.

There are currently 7 threads related to the game. You will need to subscribe to all of them in order to be notified of new posts via Instant Email Notification. The links will take you to Page 1 of each thread. To subscribe, go to 'Thread Tools' and select the 'Subscribe To This Thread' option from the drop down menu.

1: Introduction, Joining And Inactivity, Rules, OOC Chat - This thread is for all game related posts which require players being out of character. (See Rules - Posting in appropriate threads.)

2: Game Guides - official game records (Character Guide, Character Owners Guide, Up For Adoption List} are kept on this thread. Other guides are on the Wraith Worshippers Anonymous website. The Game Guides Thread provides links to relevant webpages for easy reference.

3: Boris's Hive (Role playing thread). This is for everything happening on Boris's Hive ship which is in orbit above The Planet. The Locations Guide for Boris's Hive can be found here.

4: The Planet (Role playing thread) This is for everything happening on The Planet. The Locations Guide for The Planet can be found here.

5: Kenny's Hive(Role playing thread) This is for everything happening on Kenny's Hive. The Locations Guide for Kenny's Hive can be found here.

The Chill-Out Hive is a very specialised role playing thread because it's associated with the game world but not a part of it as such. It's run by Todd's Pet and Starry Waters. The Locations Guide for The Chill-Out Hive can be found here. The following description of how The Chill-Out Hive operates is by Todd's Pet.

The purpose of the Chill-Out Hive is just that: to chill out and relax.

As such there are not so many "rules"... you don't have to knock, just come on in and pull up a recliner... talk about whatever you want to talk about... that includes real life if getting something off your chest will help you to relax!... post pics or drawings of pretty Wraith (any Wraith)... post fanfics now and then if they're relevant and not TOO long... admire each other's siggies (especially when our boys try to upstage each other and manipulate their siggies to try to tell us something!)... if you really, really want to have a food fight, take it down the corridor so the recliners don't get sticky...

In other words just use your common sense - and if you get a bit over-exuberant, don't take offence if TP or SW butts in and tells you to dial it down a bit!
Of course if you ignore us, then we'll have to call on the drones!

Bring your Wraithie partner(s) with you and enjoy everything the hive has to offer - spas, massage, alternative therapies, saunas, jaccuzzis, we have the works - or just snuggle down for an evening of soothing Wraithie purring. If you want to take it further respect others and go get a room - the Chill-Out Hive has plenty to go round, equipped to suit all tastes - within PG guidelines, of course!

Our only real "rule" is: Todd and Steve are ours! You can look but don't touch - at least not without our permission!!!

This goes out to all of you who are interested in online role playing:

Some of you will know the site <A HREF="www.gateworld.net">Gateworld.net</A> and its various threads for discussing (and thunking over) everything Wraith. A group of barking mad Wraith fans have started role playing on the Wraith thunk threads and created a crazy fantasy world which grew bigger and bigger and is now a cross between Stargate, Monty Python, Terry Pratchett's Discworld and Dallas (but with coffee and healthy, nutritious cream cakes instead of oil).

What is the object of the game? It's to have fun so everything tends to get very silly and surreal at times. Players can create their own characters as well as adopt SGA characters (for example Wraith ) and pick one of the numerous locations to chill out, start a party, work for Kenny's coffee empire or anything else your heart desires.

We are looking for players who can come online and play with regularity, we have no dictate on how many posts must be made per day but a handful of posts every two days would be minimum.

I think it might be better to say something like -

We are looking for players who can come online and play with regularity so take a look at our game if you think you'll be able to make one or two role playing posts a day. We understand that real life can throw unexpected things at people, however, so there's no penalty if your good intentions are thwarted by illness or your computer deciding to keel over and die.

PS: Better mention that some of the rules etc. are being rewritten so if things aren't too clear they can always ask questions in OOC chat.

I can't think of anything else to add at the moment. We call tell people that the Hive 95 role playing thread is currently for characters who have signed up for an event if anyone applies. The same for the instant email notification stuff as well.

Hi DS, you might want to add that certain 'main' Wraith like Todd, Steve, etc. are already 'adopted' and that they would have to choose an unadopted Wraith if they wished to have one of their own... just a thought

Last week Aurora managed not to push Kit away when he was snoozing, and they fell asleep next to each other. So cute I had to do a pic, Aurora's all on me now
