I tried to use the report post feature earlier, as several threads about fights between fictional characters were being posted with misleading thread titles such as "What you like about Gateworld" and "SciFi Appreciation Thread". However, every time I hit the button, the browser would try to connect to the forum server, but never actually successfully connect. Is this an issue for others, is it something on my end, or is it an already known issue and I simply missed an existing thread on the subject?

Anyone else having issues with the "Report Post" feature?

You just have to wait it out. Darren said that you won't get a confirmation page saying that it has been sent, but that doesn't mean it wasn't.
I've noticed that if you look in the lower left-hand corner of your browser (where it shows actions) it'll be at Waiting for forum.gateworld.net... for a while, but eventually it'll switch to Done.
As Darren said, no confirm page, but if it says Done, it is. I've reported a couple of posts that way and it seems to work.
Another "glitch" to be fixed? How many is that, now?

EDIT: Yep, had to PM you, it wasnt working any other wayLast edited by The Signal; 09 December 2005, 11:50 AM.Equality is not a concept. It's not something we should be striving for. It's a necessity. Equality is like gravity. We need it to stand on this earth as men and women. And the misogyny that is in every culture is not a true part of the human condition. It is life out of balance, and that imbalance is sucking something out of the soul of every man and woman who is confronted with it.
