-I am a self admitted BSG fan, sue me if that's a problem

-While I personally feel SG is 'dead' for now, I still love it immensely and hope and pray for its resurrection in some form, someday.

Your own avatar is impossible at this stage. That requires a whole lot more posts -- exact count is unknown but it's pretty close to 2000.

i mean, how many are there anyhow?

i am totally cool with anyone who likes STD, it just doesn't 'grab' me as being Trek is the biggest problem. i know there are issues with copyright/ production rights, etc, that mandated some of this 'newness' in STD, but it is a bit too dramatic of a change (ie: change in klingon appearance)

maybe if star trek wasn't in the name?

i was just staying in form with other ST shows. like ST:TNG or ST:TOS

how about ST: DIS ?

Whether you like it or not, it does stick with you like an STD... ...although generally those are not particularly positive.

It's just an unfortunate abbreviation, but I'm Flemish and in my language it doesn't translate that way back (since our abbreviation for an STD is SOA).
