Hello all,
I'm new to the forum, and a [relatively] new SG fan. I didn't start watching SG-1 until 2010, but fortunately by then the "agreed upon" viewing order was widely-circulated, so I got to experience it the way many of you think it was intended. I watched it all fairly quickly, however by the time I'd made it to SGU I'd heard news of it being canceled, so to me the series felt like the cold, bitter end on the fringes of what we all had come to love (essentially what the plot of the series was, with respect to space exploration ). I work as a materials engineer, specifically in thin-films, am into all things sci-fi, and have been an avid producer of IDM since 2001. I look forward to getting to meet you all, and contribute to the forum in any way possible. Thanks!
