I didn't create this thread just to advertise, im actually interested in chatting with other gate world members instantly.

We do not have a chatroom and quite frankly are unlikely to set one up. It would be impossible to moderate effectively and we are currently against an unmoderated chatroom within the site (although of course we reserve the right to change our opinions for whatever reason takes our fancy ).

The technical reasons for us not having an IRC server/network relate to the potential risks involved in hosting one - which is why we dont, and wont for the foreseable future have one.
