    VMWare Node Upgrades - 26 -> 29th Feb

    Hi Guys,

    We are upgrading VMWare on our cluster, the upgrade should be transparent, and not cause any outages - however while the upgrade takes place the servers will be considerably slower, so please bare with us.

    Tanks.

    One question, Greg.

    What is hell VMWare?

    Explain it to those of us who don't know this stuff, or something.

              Growing older is mandatory. Growing up is optional.

                  Virtualisation software. Several virtual copies of an OS (Be it Linux, Unix, Windows (if you're in to that sort of thing) ) can run concurrently. Especially useful for developers wanting to test on several operating systems.

                  (And for geeks like me who've run virtual domains in the past Geeky)
