It was a good ep...very intriguing! (I still don't see how they will wrap it all up in three hours. )

Tonight Hubby is making Chicken and vegetable potato-topped pie.

He's using a recipe he found in an old book ,and I've been ordered to stay out of the kitchen ...so this arrangement sounds terrific ,as long as he remembers not to put onions in the pie.

Well,I was trying be ladylike ,demure and all those polite things...but as I just finished my share of the chicken pie ,and still have room for goodies...*takes slice of cake and runs to kitchen to make tea*

LOL ! Sorry to cause hunger pangs,Sky...but the chicken pie was wonderful.Hubby can make that again,any time he likes.

Sorry,but there's not a speck of the real pie left.This is a miracle when my teens are around and forced to eat ""real" food.

they did an Egg Drop this morning. sponsored by our local engineers, it's a contest for school kids, design a'vehicle' that would allow an egg to be dropped from 20 feet and not break. lightest construct wins

so that was fun to see

then came home, then took the cat to the vet, home again, out to dinner at a friend's, now home and we have the first thunderstorms of the season knocking at our door.
