BTW still getting the strangest advertisement in this thread, unlike all the other threads.
It's in Dutch as that is my mother language, but it is again advertisement for a dating service.
It says something like this, and I translate:
"There are new messages available for you... Who would be your secret love?"

There's another too, which says, and I translate:
"You have two secret love messages waiting for you."

Also I would probably have different advertisement than you, because my advertisement is mostly in French as I live in Belgium and apparently they think all people in Belgium are French. I disabled my add-blocker on gateworld.net as to give Darren the opportunity to make some money to run GW.

Most likely he only makes money if you click the ads. I don't click on ads, seeing them is annoying and as such I block them.

I bet it would be more effective to add a paypal link on GW so members can donate.

No he makes money if the adds are just displayed too. I specifically asked him as otherwise I would not have bothered. And with Ad-Block-Plus it is really easy to make it not block adds on one specific address.
