we have a local guy that started a donut shop in the past few years. and, since the only other competition is a dimple donut shop and whatever the local grocery stores decide to provide (and their donuts are usually made from frozen dough, he's doing pretty good. we even laugh at the craziness of people getting into the shop every weekend morning.

it's just nuts, and you;d think they were giving away money the way people bustle to get in there
