Can't directly help even friends.Can't prevent atrocities committed by the Goa'uld.Have to be profound all the time too.No games of Pool or much in the way of fun in canon.

Decide to descend ,and you get your memory wiped ,land dumped on an alien planet and wake up to find out that someone stole your clothing.
