Im using IE7 and its great even if it is a bit slow. the Phishing filter take sits sweet ass time but it does the job. Firefox is good but its easy to hack. so just go with IE7 and set the phishing filter lower then its the same speed at Firefox but its safer

Hi. I registered a week or so ago under the name "Stargate Sith". I tried to sign in today with no success. I know for sure im typing the correct username and password but it's not letting me sign in. Unfortunately i can't get the password sent to me either. Any suggestions? or am i screwed?

If your absolutely certain that you entered the proper user name and password, I recomend talking to Greg.

Well, you aren't completely stuffed - I did a search and here's the profile for that account: http://forum.gateworld.net/member.php?u=31473

i.e., it's still there in the system (as are the posts you made with it).

That's the good news. The bad news is i'm no techy - so, as Jelgate said, if you know for sure you're using the right username and password, give Greg a call.

I sign in, check "remember me" and .... then I have to sign in again after a day or two.
Seems to be the only site this happens with, and it doesn't matter which browser I use (IE, Firefox, Opera). Also happens on my laptop, and the various browsers on that as well (Camino, Safari, Firefox).

No... and like I said, it happens with multiple browsers and multiple computers.

Sounds like your browswr cookies might be messed up. Try deleting them off, close the browser and start all over.

Also one of the biggest culprits of browser problems in a corrupt page in your browser cache. If I am having any kind of problem with a website the first thing I do is clear out the browser cache, close the browser and the re open. It clears up 90% of the problems.

LMAO! Yeah, you and everyone else! LOL!

The writers are legally prohibited from reading fan suggestions/stories/scripts. You need to be a valid screenwriter with an agent to even be under consideration and even then only if they're looking for submissions.

Or the short answer: You don't stand a chance in hell.
