What's allowed in a signature?

Basically I have this banner

and I know that we keep spoilers behind spoiler space.....can I use this banner, or do I need to make another?

1. Remember that the forum is rated PG. Do not include inappropriate (or borderline) images or links in your signature.

2. If you use an image in your signature, it must reside on a server somewhere on the Internet -- and you must have permission to use it.

3. The total file size of all images in your signature may not exceed 50KB.

4. Your signature's width must not be so wide that it stretches beyond the forum template -- about 700 pixels is the maximum. It also may not be more than about 200 pixels (two inches) tall, in total. Remember, less is more! Your signature shouldn't dominate your post.

all of us need to remember that we in the states are far ahead of the rest of the world and folks don't like to be spoiled....something we will appreciate when the airings are reversed and the brits are weeks ahead of the rest of us

The spoiler rule on GateWorld applies to anything that hasn't yet been shown in syndication. So if an episode has been shown on Sci Fi but not in syndication in the US, then you need to observe the spoiler rule. You can show pictures from those episodes, in the same way you can discuss a storyline, but you can't show pictures or discuss aspects of the story that would give the game away.

Folks trying to stay spoiler free in the US will appreciate this rule when the UK pulls ahead and starts showing episodes first.

I suppose the difficulty comes when deciding what pics would be considered as spoilers or not. In theory any pics from the new season could be considered as spoilers. One of my sigs had a piccy of the Ori on it, I did wonder whether it could be a spoiler or not. I suppose if in doubt just do what lookingfortarzan has done and check first.

How about my Ford signature? I was using it for a bit and I don't think anyone complained... Unless they were doing it very quietly and I couldn't hear...

Can't really complain about my signature or avatar right now because the signature is from Season 2 (and the middle pic from Season 3) of Alias and the avatar from the end of Season 3...
