New Ranking System

I love the new ranking system. The Goa'uld one was getting kinda old. Changing it to the Air Force is much better.

Any idea what the Ranks Per Post Count is?

I assume it's US Airforce, so:

The Air Force also doesn't have the rank- Private

It's a good idea - I like it. The Goa'uld were pretty much only connected to SG-1 - they only had brief mentions in Atlantis, and probably won't have much more in Universe. So changing it to something more applicable for all three shows is great.

Would have been a lot more fun with something unique to Stargate, I've seen soldier ranking on so many forums.

But that's just me maybe.

ETA: But at least now there's something to look forward to past 10 000 posts, which is great!

So with the new ranking system using the Air Force/Military monkier, does that mean that Darren gets 'Commander-in-Chief' and the moderators get 'Presidential Cabinet Member'?

Looks like a good change to me. Especially since the ranks apply equally to the fans of other shows, such as Battlestar Galactica, Babylon 5 and even Star Trek to an extent (higher ranks mainly).
