TBH, I didn't really care for the flashbacks, I pretty much knew what I would expect. They seemed to just be a filler in the episode. IMO of course.

Wow I actually enjoyed those flashbacks whoever doesn't like them in my opinon has poor taste or is too picky for their own good.

I'm convinced, more than ever that Greer's and Young's flashbacks are induced by an Ascended being, ala Daniel Jackson in Abyss or The Changling.
