STARGATE UNIVERSE "Space" and "Divided" Review

I had an opportunity to watch the first two episodes of the second half of season one of Syfy's STARGATE UNIVERSE, respectively titled "Space" which airs Friday April 2 and "Divided" which airs Friday April 9 both at 9 pm on Syfy. I wanted to share a few thoughts I had on those two episodes.

I guess the best way to sum up the new episodes is "OMFG". These SGU two episodes are by far some of the most entertaining and intriguing episodes of the season for the following reasons (Minor Spoilers ahead):...

Smurf tracking device is actually dr. Rush himself? I mean there could be something implanted in his body. It wouldn't be the first time this happened in SG. And TJ is trying to remove the device and destroy it...or he just got shot by somebody...

The first time I watched Divided, I was struck by two things: that the episode feels more like a continuation of Space than a wholly separate episode, and that after the events of the episode life on board Destiny would be markedly different. The episode is primarily focused on the characters and the consequences of their choices – both those they are making in the here and now, and choices already gone by...
