*rolls in* I've got to admit it Young is my fave character at the moment and there is just something about him that is strangely attractive that I can't put my finger on at the moment. I even had a little squeee during Justice when I noticed his hair had been growing into an almost quiffy bit at the front. Anybody have caps???

Hello all,

I'm new here, but I just wanted to chime in, as it were...

I've gotta say, I was ambivalent to SGU and all of its characters at the beginning, but now I've definitely warmed up to it, and Young has quickly become my favourite character! For me, I really respect his leadership and nobility. In fact, that's what made me kind of worried about the end of "Justice"

when he marooned Rush. That, as interesting as it was for the show, was decidedly NOT a noble thing to do!! But everybody makes decisions they eventually regret, and I really hope we see Young reflect on that particular decision and show some remorse.

And, touche Tanie on both of your points! He really does hold this miscellany of characters together. AND he also looks damn fine!

I really like Young, but not so much in terms of thunking, but he is, like rush a very interesting character. And I like what the SGU crew said about Louis in an interview,he is the papa smurf on set for all the youngsters!

Anyone else think Young was fantastic in "Faith"?? He was already my favourite character, but man, my respect for this character keeps growing and growing! It's clear that Young is determined to the right thing, and to do what is best for everyone on board.
The "chess" scene at the end was definitely a nice touch, too.
