An excellent point. 'Studied law at Harvard' as a sole qualification is quite atypical for a female stargate major character. It's good to have someone who's not a Carter-esque 'superwoman'. Atlantis had 'hypergeniuses can be stay at home moms too' Jean Miller, plus 'alien fighters with fancy genetics can be moms' Teyla. (this isn't intended to say that their characters were 'bad' because of that) Chloe seems very normal by comparison, which makes her far more interesting because the question 'what place does a more typical woman have in the wild world of stargate?' hasn't been answered before.

I really liked this character and the actress did very well I was half expecting a character like the one Britney played in Crossroads glad I was wrong. She reminds me of Elizabeth in a way a young Elizabeth before she gets her PH.D

When I first heard of Chloe on the casting sheet. Describing her as a party girl. I felt she would more obnoxious and self-indulgent kind of character. Maybe a bit like Vala on SG1. But she turn out to be much much mature. She seem like a young woman in the making.

Hi,
I am just here to support Chloe. I think she is a great character already. I really enjoyed her in the first 3 episodes of SGU. I didn't read any spoilers, and will not read any but I really was blown away by her character. I really liked the whole idea about her character.
Also the performence of Elyse blew me away. I was genuinly touched by it. It even got me all teary, not something I have much.
