I really need to go visiting Scotland. To those of you already been there: is there any specific place you would absolutely recommend to visit? Maybe some fantastic landscape, some nice village, RC's house, etc?

The Western Highlands. Simply magical. Just across from Skye is Plockton, where Hamish was filmed, and the area around there is amazing - hairy cows in the streets, gorgeous forests, seals in the lochs...
