The DVD player, or my computer has some kind of blocking program, which don't allow to play DVD's with other programs, and since I'm not a computer freak, who's able to re-write those parts in question, I have to live with it, and do.

Now that shucks.

May I ask what program you have for DVDs? There was some CyberLink Power DVD for playbacks when I got my laptop, and I hated the program. It messed with region settings, but I live in region 2 area and all SG discs are from region 1. So I got rid of the program.

My Mac is the problem. As much as I love to use her (my computer is a she. Of course) for my work, it just sucks in such occasions. I know about the region problem. *sigh* That's the reason I don't by other regions than 2, and I'm not sure whether I really should try to uninstall the DVD player, if it's even possible, without special knowledge.

No, it's not a palm tree, I think it's a 'Dracaena' (Drachenbaum in German). They can grow there because of the (normally) warm weather in the winter because of the Gulf Stream.

Thanks for looking this up. But regardless, it's a plant from the more warm regions. I forget the Golf Stream phenomenon all the time. Right, Didn'know it affects the northern part of GB too, I thought it's more important in the south.
