That's the thing about transitioning into your 20's is that you realize that waaaaaaay too many people are involved in your personal business. You can offer suggestions, assurances, etc, but basically, one shouldn't have to choose sides. I had friends and family that did that for years until I said, "Enough! You don't like it, you deal with it, but don't make it my problem."

Yes! So true! We have to try hard not to let other people make their problems yours. It's hard, sometimes I still get caught up in that game, then I stop and say "This has nothing to do with me, its all about them".

People will see that good part about you if you continue to show politeness. Me? I'm a transplanted New Yorker. I've got the NY attitude but with a southern politeness. The South forced into me. Now, instead of running people over with glee, I actually let them make it to the curb before speeding away.

Howdy yessika! Hugs to you, too! I think I agree with you, young women can be so vicious sometimes. I think it's important to be polite but very firm, let them know it's their problem, not yours. The mature thing is to not give into the petty fights, that's what they want. If one holds her ground, eventually they will tire of it, and hopefully find more respect for you. It can be heartbreaking, but it's really just a power game and people try to break you for the satisfaction of "winning". It's usually very insecure people trying to bolster their own egos, and those folks continue their whole lives playing the game.
