No one died, so it's not exactly the same mood, but I'm feeling pretty sad and depressed. Oh well. At least according to JM the ratings won't have any effect in whether there's going to be a SGU movie or not.

No one died, so it's not exactly the same mood, but I'm feeling pretty sad and depressed. Oh well. At least according to JM the ratings won't have any effect in whether there's going to be a SGU movie or not.

It's as if viewers have just given up because they already know SighFigh won't air another season. I seriously hope the haters got what they wanted (i.e., not any kind of Stargate show at all). If they'd stuck with it, given it a chance, SGU might've bowled them over -- and ensured the continuation of the franchise. But I feel as if SGU was hampered by spiteful fans (predisposed to hate the show because "their" show got cancelled not long before the launch of SGU) from the beginning, plus by people wanting instant awesome (which I personally think there was in SGU -- but people forget it takes some build-up before we care about characters and their stories).

At least they're still talking about the movie option.
