SGU got picked up in time to return to the air three years from now. That seems like it would actually provide a cool sense of continuity for the show.
Now I know the notion of this is impossible just because typically when a show is canceled it's never resurrected in it's pre-existing form. That said, they could probably throw in a little new flavoring but hold on to the core essence of SGU if need be. Honestly I'd prefer it to be untouched but whatever makes it enticing for producers, I suppose.
In the real world, three years may be long enough to campaign for a different network to adopt the show. Who knows.
